Azerbaijan dismisses Armenian reports on Karabakh separatists’ visit to Iran

21.01.2016

The recent Armenian media reports that a delegation of farmers of the separatist regime established in Azerbaijan's Nagorno-Karabakh region occupied by Armenia visited Iran in October 2015 and met with Iranian officials are false and groundless, Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry spokesman Hikmat Hajiyev told APA.

“Azerbaijan’s foreign ministry investigated the reports through diplomatic channels. In addition, the Iranian embassy in Baku in its response note dismissed the Armenian media reports as baseless,” said Hajiyev.
