Turkish President: "I don't understand why the Minsk Group can't solve the Karabakh problem during 25 years"

Turkish President:

“I do not understand why the Minsk Group can not resolve the Karabakh issue” said the President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan at the joint press conference with Secretary General of the organization Iyad Madani, after the 13th summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in Istanbul on April 14-15, APA reports

Characterizing the 13th summit as "a turning point" in the history of the OIC, Erdogan highlighted the issue of liberation of the occupied Azerbaijani territories by Armenia, among other important issues on the agenda.

"Lands of our Azerbaijani brothers for many years remain under Armenian occupation and I do not understand why the Minsk Group during 25 years, can not resolve the Karabakh issue, despite the UN resolution in favor of Azerbaijan. I again express my support for the struggle of our Azerbaijani brothers in Karabakh ", - said the President of Turkey.

"We need to take serious steps in this matter, which we have included in the agenda of the OIC", - said Erdogan.
