President: Azerbaijani army can destroy any target in occupied lands

APA. President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev on Saturday got acquainted with the operational conditions in the command control center on the frontline in Fuzulidistrict.

In his speech before military servicemen, the head of state touched on the April fighting.

“In April of this year, Armenia carried out another armed provocation against our state and people but got an adequate response from the Azerbaijani army. In a successful counterattack, we inflicted a crushing blow on the enemy and liberated part of Azerbaijan’s occupied lands. The Azerbaijani army demonstrated its power. Armenia had for years been making up lies and myths about its army that it is invincible. The April fighting showed which army is truly invincible. It’s the Azerbaijani army. There is no target in the occupied lands that we cannot destroy. The Azerbaijani army is now among the world’s mightiest,” said President Ilham Aliyev.
