Over 2,000 Azerbaijani civilians killed in Armenian terror

More than 2,000 Azerbaijani civilians have been killed as a result of 373 terrorist acts committed by Armenians in Azerbaijan, said Chief of the country’s State Security Service Lieutenant General Madat Guliyev.

He made the remarks addressing a conference on the theme “The role of youth in the fight against terrorism, extremism and radicalism,” held in Baku March 3, APA reported.

Underlining Azerbaijan’s contribution to the fight against international terrorism, Guliyev recalled that the country without hesitation joined the anti-terrorist coalition.

Terrorism, extremism and radicalism which are today a serious threat to the world security are also an important issue for Azerbaijan, he added.
