Turkey and Azerbaijan are two fraternal countries, and the biggest problem for these countries is theNagorno-Karabakh conflict, Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Erkan Ozoral said on Wednesday, APA reported.

The diplomat noted that Turkey has always been in solidarity with Azerbaijan and seeks a peaceful, negotiated solution to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, in line with Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity.

“We hope for a solution to this problem that would result in the citizens who became refugees and IDPs returning to their homes. The most important issue is that the problem should be resolved peacefully. In order for the discussions to yield a result, all parties must realize their responsibility,” he added.

The ambassador stressed that the April battles of last year showed what the Azerbaijani army is capable of doing.
