Trend:

Normalization of relations is not possible unless Armenia fulfills Turkey’s condition and leaves the occupied Azerbaijani territories, said Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu at a press conference dedicated to the results of the fifth trilateral meeting of Azerbaijani, Turkish and Iranian foreign ministers held in Baku Dec. 20.

Cavusoglu reminded that Armenia occupied 20 percent of Azerbaijani territories and committed the Khojaly genocide.

“We will accept each formula that Azerbaijan will accept. We have put a condition for the normalization of relations with Armenia that Armenia will leave the Azerbaijani territories and after that the relations can be normalized,” noted the Turkish minister.
