he Armenian army that resorted to another provocation on the frontline has suffered a loss.

An Armenian soldier, Vache Chilingaryan, was killed in retaliatory fire on Jan. 7 by the Azerbaijani army to Armenian ceasefire violation.   

The Nagorno-Karabakh conflict entered its modern phase when the Armenian SRR made territorial claims against the Azerbaijani SSR in 1988.
